"NeverthelessI sayto you, it will be more tolerablefor Tyreand Sidonin [the] dayof judgmentthanfor you.
and allthe kingsof Tyre,allthe kingsof Sidonand the kingsof the coastlandswhichare beyondthe sea;
and sendword to the kingof Edom,to the kingof Moab,to the kingof the sonsof Ammon,to the kingof Tyreand to the kingof Sidonby the messengerswho cometo Jerusalemto Zedekiahkingof Judah.
"Sonof man,Nebuchadnezzarkingof Babylonmade his armylaborhardagainstTyre;everyheadwas madebaldand everyshoulderwas rubbedbare.But he and his armyhadnowagesfrom Tyrefor the laborthat he had performedagainstit."
"Moreover,whatare you to Me, O Tyre,Sidonand allthe regionsof Philistia?Are you renderingMe a recompense?But ifyou do recompenseMe, swiftlyand speedilyI will returnyour recompenseon your head.
"TrulyI sayto you, it will be more tolerablefor [the] landof Sodomand Gomorrahin the dayof judgmentthanfor that city.
"Woeto you, Chorazin!Woeto you, Bethsaida!For ifthe miracleshad occurredin Tyreand Sidonwhich occurredin you, they would have repentedlong agoin sackclothand ashes.
"NeverthelessI sayto you that it will be more tolerablefor the landof Sodomin [the] dayof judgment,thanfor you."
"But I tellyou that everycarelesswordthat peoplespeak,they shall givean accountingfor it in the dayof judgment.
"But it will be more tolerablefor Tyreand Sidonin the judgmentthanfor you.
howwill we escapeif we neglectso greata salvation?Afterit was at the firstspokenthroughthe Lord,it was confirmedto us by thosewho heard,
[then] the Lordknows howto rescuethe godlyfrom temptation,and to keepthe unrighteousunder punishmentfor the dayof judgment,
But by His wordthe presentheavensand earthare being reservedfor fire,keptfor the dayof judgmentand destructionof ungodlymen.
By this,loveis perfectedwith us, so that we may haveconfidencein the dayof judgment;becauseas He is, so alsoare we in thisworld.
ThenI sawa greatwhitethroneand Him who satupon it, from whosepresenceearthand heavenfled away,and noplacewas foundfor them.
And I sawthe dead,the greatand the small,standingbeforethe throne,and bookswere opened;and anotherbookwas opened,whichis [the book] of life;and the deadwere judgedfrom the things which were writtenin the books,accordingto their deeds.
