and say,'We played the flutefor you, and you did not dance;we sang a dirge,and you did not mourn.'
"You broodof vipers,howcanyou, beingevil,speakwhat is good?For the mouthspeaksout of that which fillsthe heart.
"TrulyI sayto you, allthesethingswill comeupon thisgeneration.
and respectful greetingsin the market places,and being calledRabbiby men.
"TrulyI sayto you, thisgenerationwill not pass awayuntilallthese thingstake place.
In His teachingHe was saying:"Bewareof the scribeswho liketo walk aroundin long robes,and [like] respectful greetingsin the market places,
And He said,"Howshall we picturethe kingdomof God,orby whatparableshall we presentit?
"Woeto you Pharisees!For you lovethe chief seatsin the synagoguesand the respectful greetingsin the market places.
SoHe was saying,"Whatis the kingdomof Godlike,and to whatshall I compareit?
