And Ahaziahfellthroughthe latticein his upperchamberwhich[was] in Samaria,and becameill.So he sentmessengersand saidto them, "Go,inquireof Baal-zebub,the godof Ekron,whetherI will recoverfrom thissickness."
But when the Phariseesheard[this], they said,"This mancastsout demonsonlyby Beelzebulthe rulerof the demons."
"IfI by Beelzebulcastout demons,by whomdo your sonscast[them] out? For thisreasonthey will be your judges.
But the Phariseeswere saying,"He castsout the demonsby the rulerof the demons."
They saidto Him, "We are able."And Jesussaidto them, "The cupthat I drinkyou shall drink;and you shall be baptizedwith the baptismwith whichI am baptized.
The scribeswho came downfrom Jerusalemwere saying,"He is possessedby Beelzebul,"and "He castsout the demonsby the rulerof the demons."
But someof them said,"He castsout demonsby Beelzebul,the rulerof the demons."
"IfSatanalsois dividedagainsthimself,howwill his kingdomstand?For you saythat I castout demonsby Beelzebul.
"And ifI by Beelzebulcastout demons,by whomdo your sonscastthem out? Sothey will be your judges.
Manyof them were saying,"He hasa demonand is insane.Whydo you listento Him?"
The crowdanswered,"You havea demon!Whoseeksto killYou?"
The Jewsansweredand saidto Him, "Do we not sayrightlythat You are a Samaritanand havea demon?"
The Jewssaidto Him, "Nowwe knowthat You havea demon.Abrahamdied,and the prophets[also]; and You say,'IfanyonekeepsMy word,he will nevertasteof death.'
