PilatequestionedHim, "Are You the Kingof the Jews?"And He answeredhim, "[It is as] you say."
"Whereis He who has been bornKingof the Jews?For we sawHis starin the eastand have cometo worshipHim."
Answeringagain,Pilatesaidto them, "Thenwhatshall I dowith Him whomyou callthe Kingof the Jews?"
and they beganto acclaimHim, "Hail,Kingof the Jews!"
The inscriptionof the charge againstHim read,"THE KINGOF THE JEWS."
The chief priests[began] to accuseHim harshly.
Pilateansweredthem, saying,"Do you wantme to releasefor you the Kingof the Jews?"
I chargeyou in the presenceof God,who gives lifeto all things,and of ChristJesus,who testifiedthe goodconfessionbeforePontiusPilate,
