On the firstdayof UnleavenedBread, whenthe Passover[lamb] was being sacrificed,His disciplessaidto Him, "Wheredo You wantus to goand preparefor You to eatthe Passover?"
In the first[month], on the fourteenthdayof the monthat evening,you shall eatunleavenedbread,untilthe twenty-firstdayof the monthat evening.
You shall keepit untilthe fourteenthdayof the samemonth,then the wholeassemblyof the congregationof Israelis to killit at twilight.
They shall eatthe fleshthat [same] night,roastedwith fire,and they shall eatit with unleavenedbreadand bitterherbs.
Mosessaidto the people,"Rememberthisdayin whichyou wentout from Egypt,from the houseof slavery;for by a powerfulhandthe LORDbroughtyou out from thisplace. And nothingleavenedshall be eaten.
But Jesusansweringsaidto him, "Permit[it] at this time;for in this wayit is fittingfor us to fulfillallrighteousness."Thenhe permittedHim.
Nowthe Passoverand UnleavenedBread were twodaysaway;and the chief priestsand the scribeswere seekinghowto seizeHim by stealthand kill[Him];
They were gladwhen they heard[this], and promisedto givehim money.And he [began] seekinghowto betrayHim at an opportune time.
And He senttwoof His disciplesand saidto them, "Gointo the city,and a manwill meetyou carryinga pitcherof water;followhim;
But whenthe fullnessof the timecame,Godsent forthHis Son,bornof a woman,bornunderthe Law,
"You are not allowedto sacrificethe Passoverin anyof your townswhichthe LORDyour Godis givingyou;
