But Jesusansweredand saidto them, "You are mistaken,not understandingthe Scripturesnorthe powerof God.
I AMTHE GODOF ABRAHAM,AND THE GODOF ISAAC,AND THE GODOF JACOB?He is not the Godof the deadbut of the living."
Jesussaidto them, "Is thisnot the reasonyou are mistaken,that you do not understandthe Scripturesorthe powerof God?
"NowHe is not the Godof the deadbut of the living;for allliveto Him."
For to thisend Christdiedand livedagain, that He might be Lordbothof the deadand of the living.
(as it is written,"A FATHEROF MANYNATIONSHAVE I MADEYOU") in the presenceof Him whomhe believed,[even] God,who gives lifeto the deadand callsinto being that which does not exist.
