"Have you not evenreadthisScripture:THE STONEWHICHTHE BUILDERSREJECTED,THISBECAMETHE CHIEFCORNER[stone];
Thereforethussaysthe LordGOD,"Behold,I am layingin Ziona stone,a testedstone,A costlycornerstone[for] the foundation,firmlyplaced.He who believes[in it] will not be disturbed.
But He saidto them, "Have you not readwhatDaviddidwhenhe became hungry,he and his companions,
And He answeredand said,"Have you not readthat He who created[them] from the beginningMADETHEM MALEAND FEMALE,
and saidto Him, "Do You hearwhatthese[children] are saying?"And Jesussaidto them, "Yes;have you neverread,OUT OF THE MOUTHOF INFANTSAND NURSING BABIESYOU HAVE PREPAREDPRAISEFOR YOURSELF'?"
Jesussaidto them, "Did you neverreadin the Scriptures,THE STONEWHICHTHE BUILDERSREJECTED,THISBECAMETHE CHIEFCORNER[stone]; THISCAMEABOUT FROM THE LORD,AND IT IS MARVELOUSIN OUR EYES'?
"But regardingthe resurrectionof the dead,have you not readwhatwas spokento you by God:
"But regardingthe factthat the deadrise again,have you not readin the bookof Moses,in the [passage] about[the burning] bush,howGodspoke to him, saying,I AM THE GODOF ABRAHAM,AND THE GODOF ISAAC,and the Godof Jacob'?
"Whatwill the ownerof the vineyarddo?He will comeand destroythe vine-growers,and will givethe vineyardto others.
"But whenyou seethe ABOMINATIONOF DESOLATIONstandingwhereit shouldnot be (let the readerunderstand),thenthosewhoare in Judeamust fleeto the mountains.
And He saidto them, "Have you neverreadwhatDaviddidwhenhe was in needand he and his companionsbecame hungry;
And Jesusansweringthem said,"Have you not evenreadwhatDaviddidwhenhe was hungry,he and thosewho were with him,
justas it is written,"BEHOLD,I LAYIN ZIONA STONEOF STUMBLINGAND A ROCKOF OFFENSE,AND HE WHO BELIEVESIN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED."
