and [began] sayingto Him, "By whatauthorityare You doingthese things,orwhogaveYou thisauthorityto dothese things?"
But he said,"Whomadeyou a princeor a judgeoverus? Are you intendingto killme as you killedthe Egyptian?"Then Moseswas afraidand said,"Surelythe matterhas become known."
"Is it not enoughthat you have broughtus up out of a landflowingwith milkand honeyto have us diein the wilderness,but you would alsolordit overus?
They assembledtogether againstMosesand Aaron,and saidto them, "You have gone farenough,for allthe congregationare holy,everyoneof them, and the LORDis in their midst;so whydo you exaltyourselves abovethe assemblyof the LORD?"
They cameagainto Jerusalem.And as He was walkingin the temple,the chief priestsand the scribesand the elderscameto Him,
And Jesussaidto them, "I will askyou onequestion,and you answerMe, and [then] I will tellyou by whatauthorityI dothese things.
"You men who are stiff-neckedand uncircumcisedin heartand earsare alwaysresistingthe HolySpirit;you are doing justas your fathersdid.
