they foundHim, and saidto Him, "Everyoneis lookingfor You."
So it was brokenon that day,and thusthe afflictedof the flockwho were watchingme realizedthat it was the wordof the LORD.
Simonand his companionssearchedfor Him;
He saidto them, "Let us gosomewhere elseto the townsnearby,sothat I may preachtherealso;for that is what I camefor."
And allthe countryof Judeawas goingout to him, and allthe people of Jerusalem;and they were being baptizedby him in the JordanRiver,confessingtheir sins.
"Ifwe letHim [go on] like this,all menwill believein Him, and the Romanswill comeand take awaybothour placeand our nation."
Sothe Phariseessaidto one another,"You seethat you are not doinganygood;look,the worldhas goneafterHim."
And they cameto Johnand saidto him, "Rabbi,He whowas with you beyondthe Jordan,to whomyou have testified,behold,He is baptizingand allare comingto Him."
