While he was stillapproaching,the demonslammedhim [to the ground] and threw him into a convulsion.But Jesusrebukedthe uncleanspirit,and healedthe boyand gave him backto his father.
Elijahtookthe childand broughthim downfrom the upperroominto the houseand gavehim to his mother;and Elijahsaid,"See,your sonis alive."
He calledGehaziand said,"CallthisShunammite."So he calledher. And when she camein to him, he said,"Takeup your son."
They broughtthe boy to Him. Whenhe sawHim, immediatelythe spiritthrew him into a convulsion,and fallingto the ground,he [began] rolling aroundand foaming[at the mouth].
The dead mansatup and beganto speak.And [Jesus] gavehim back to his mother.
and a spiritseizeshim, and he suddenlyscreams,and it throws him into a convulsionwith foaming[at the mouth]; and only with difficultydoes it leavehim, maulinghim [as it leaves].
And Jesusansweredand said,"You unbelievingand pervertedgeneration,how longshall I be with you and putup with you? Bringyour sonhere."
And they were allamazedat the greatnessof God.But while everyonewas marvelingat allthat He was doing,He saidto His disciples,
Then,when they had rowedaboutthreeorfour miles,they sawJesuswalkingon the seaand drawingnearto the boat;and they were frightened.
And he gaveher his handand raisedher up; and callingthe saintsand widows,he presentedher alive.
"For thisreason,rejoice,O heavensand you who dwellin them. Woeto the earthand the sea,becausethe devilhas come downto you, havinggreatwrath,knowingthat he has[only] a shorttime."
