NowPeterand his companionshad beenovercomewith sleep;but when they were fully awake,they sawHis gloryand the twomenstandingwith Him.
And the Wordbecameflesh,and dweltamongus, and we sawHis glory,gloryas of the only begottenfrom the Father,fullof graceand truth.
Now while he was talkingwith me, I sankinto a deepsleepwith my faceto the ground;but he touchedme and made me standupright.
But I heardthe soundof his words;and as soon as I heardthe soundof his words,I fellinto a deepsleepon my face,with my faceto the ground.
For we did not followcleverly devisedtaleswhen we made knownto you the powerand comingof our LordJesusChrist,but we were eyewitnessesof His majesty.
"Father,I desirethat they also,whomYou have givenMe, be with Me whereI am,sothat they may seeMy glorywhichYou have givenMe, for You lovedMe beforethe foundationof the world.
"Nolongerwill you havethe sunfor lightby day,Norfor brightnesswill the moongiveyou light;But you will havethe LORDfor an everlastinglight,And your Godfor your glory.
Beloved,nowwe are childrenof God,and it has not appearedas yetwhatwe will be. We knowthat whenHe appears,we will be likeHim, becausewe will seeHim justas He is.
And againHe cameand foundthem sleeping,for their eyeswere very heavy;and they did not knowwhatto answerHim.
