SeeingJesus,he criedout and fell beforeHim, and saidin a loudvoice,"Whatbusiness do we have with each other, Jesus,Sonof the Most HighGod?I begYou, do not tormentme."
In that daythe LORDwill punishLeviathanthe fleeingserpent,With His fierceand greatand mightysword,EvenLeviathanthe twistedserpent;And He will killthe dragonwho[lives] in the sea.
And they criedout, saying,"Whatbusiness do we have with each other, Sonof God?Have You comehereto tormentus beforethe time?"
And when He cameout ontothe land,He was metby a manfrom the citywho was possessedwith demons;and who had not puton any clothingfor a longtime,and was not livingin a house,but in the tombs.
For He had commandedthe uncleanspiritto comeout of the man.For it had seizedhim manytimes;and he was boundwith chainsand shacklesand kept under guard,and [yet] he would breakhis bondsand be drivenby the demoninto the desert.
You believethat Godis one.You dowell;the demonsalsobelieve,and shudder.
For ifGoddid not spareangelswhen they sinned,but cast them into helland committedthem to pitsof darkness,reservedfor judgment;
the one who practicessinis of the devil;for the devilhas sinnedfrom the beginning.The Sonof Godappearedfor thispurpose, to destroythe worksof the devil.
And the devilwho deceivedthem was throwninto the lakeof fireand brimstone,wherethe beastand the false prophetare also;and they will be tormenteddayand nightforeverand ever.
