On anotherSabbathHe enteredthe synagogueand was teaching;and there was a mantherewhoserighthandwas withered.
Now when the kingheardthe sayingof the manof God,whichhe criedagainstthe altarin Bethel,Jeroboamstretchedout his handfrom the altar,saying,"Seizehim." But his handwhichhe stretchedout againsthim driedup, so that he couldnot drawit backto himself.
"Woeto the worthlessshepherdWho leavesthe flock!A swordwill be on his armAnd on his righteye!His armwill be totallywitheredAnd his righteyewill be blind."
Jesus was going throughoutallGalilee,teachingin their synagoguesand proclaimingthe gospelof the kingdom,and healingeverykindof diseaseand every kindof sicknessamongthe people.
And He was teachingin oneof the synagogueson the Sabbath.
And Jesusansweredand spoketo the lawyersand Pharisees,saying,"Is it lawfulto healon the Sabbath,ornot?"
And He cameto Nazareth,whereHe had beenbroughtup; and as was His custom,He enteredthe synagogueon the Sabbath,and stoodup to read.
And He came downto Capernaum,a cityof Galilee,and He was teachingthem on the Sabbath;
Nowit happenedthat He was passingthrough[some] grainfieldson a Sabbath;and His discipleswere pickingthe heads of grain,rubbingthem in their hands,and eating[the grain].
And He was sayingto them, "The Sonof Manis Lordof the Sabbath."
In theselaya multitudeof thosewho were sick,blind,lame,and withered,[waitingfor the movingof the waters;
Thereforesomeof the Phariseeswere saying,"Thismanis not from God,becauseHe does not keepthe Sabbath."But otherswere saying,"Howcana manwho is a sinnerperformsuchsigns?"And there was a divisionamongthem.
