But they themselveswere filledwith rage,and discussedtogetherwhatthey might doto Jesus.
Thisis an evilin allthat is doneunderthe sun,that there is onefatefor allmen.Furthermore,the heartsof the sonsof menare fullof eviland insanityis in their heartsthroughout their lives.Afterwardsthey [go] to the dead.
They began to discuss[this] amongthemselves,saying,"[He said that] becausewe did not bring[any] bread."
When the chief priestsand the PhariseesheardHis parables,they understoodthat He was speakingaboutthem.
And all[the people] in the synagoguewere filledwith rageas they heardthese things;
After looking aroundat them all,He saidto him, "Stretchout your hand!"And he did[so]; and his handwas restored.
It was at thistimethat He went offto the mountainto pray,and He spent the whole nightin prayerto God.
Thereforethe chief priestsand the Phariseesconveneda council,and were saying,"Whatare we doing?For thismanis performingmanysigns.
Afterthese thingsJesuswas walkingin Galilee,for He was unwillingto walkin Judeabecausethe Jewswere seekingto killHim.
"And as I punishedthem oftenin allthe synagogues,I tried to forcethem to blaspheme;and being furiouslyenragedat them, I kept pursuingthem evento foreigncities.
But when they had orderedthem to leavethe Council,they [began] to conferwith one another,
But Peterand Johnansweredand saidto them, "Whetherit is rightin the sightof Godto give heedto you ratherthanto God,you be the judge;
But when they heardthis, they were cut to the quickand intendedto killthem.
Nowwhen they heardthis,they were cutto the quick,and they [began] gnashingtheir teethat him.
But they will not makefurtherprogress;for their follywill be obviousto all,justas Jannes's and Jambres's follywas also.
