And He saidto them, "But now,whoeverhasa money beltis to takeit along, likewisealsoa bag,and whoeverhasnoswordis to sellhis coatand buyone.
ora bagfor [your] journey,oreventwocoats,orsandals,ora staff;for the workeris worthyof his support.
And He saidto them, "WhenI sentyou out withoutmoney beltand bagand sandals,you did not lackanything,did you?" They said,"[No], nothing."
"For I tellyou that thiswhich is writtenmustbe fulfilledin Me, 'AND HE WAS NUMBEREDWITH TRANSGRESSORS;for that which refersto Me has[its] fulfillment."
They said,"Lord,look,hereare twoswords."And He saidto them, "It is enough."
"Rememberthe wordthat I saidto you, 'A slaveis not greaterthan his master.'Ifthey persecutedMe, they will alsopersecuteyou; ifthey keptMy word,they will keepyoursalso.
"These thingsI have spokento you, sothat in Me you may havepeace.In the worldyou havetribulation,but take courage;I have overcomethe world."
For indeedwhenwe were with you, we [kept] telling you in advancethat we were goingto suffer affliction;and soit came to pass,as you know.
Therefore,since Christhas sufferedin the flesh,armyourselves alsowith the samepurpose,becausehe who has sufferedin the fleshhas ceasedfrom sin,
