SoHe toldthem thisparable,saying,
Allof us like sheephave goneastray,Eachof us has turnedto his own way;But the LORDhas caused the iniquityof us allTo fallon Him.
"I will also rejoicein Jerusalemand be gladin My people;And there will nolongerbe heardin her The voiceof weepingand the soundof crying.
but rathergoto the lostsheepof the houseof Israel.
And He spokemany thingsto them in parables,saying,"Behold,the sowerwentout to sow;
"But goand learnwhatthis means:I DESIRECOMPASSION,AND NOT SACRIFICE,'for I did not cometo callthe righteous,but sinners."
Boththe Phariseesand the scribes[began] to grumble,saying,"This manreceivessinnersand eatswith them."
"Whatmanamongyou, if he hasa hundredsheepand has lostoneof them, does not leavethe ninety-ninein the open pastureand goafterthe one which is lostuntilhe findsit?
He saidto him againa second time,"Simon,[son] of John,do you loveMe?" He saidto Him, "Yes,Lord;You knowthat I loveYou." He saidto him, "ShepherdMy sheep."
And when they heardit they [began] glorifyingGod;and they saidto him, "You see,brother,how manythousandsthere are amongthe Jewsof thosewho have believed,and they are allzealousfor the Law;
