but the one who did not know[it], and committeddeeds worthyof a flogging,will receivebut few.From everyonewhohas been givenmuch,muchwill be required;and to whomthey entrustedmuch,of him they will askall the more.
"Now ifa personsinsand doesanyof the things whichthe LORDhas commandednot to be done,though he was unaware,still he is guiltyand shall bearhis punishment.
Also ifonepersonsinsunintentionally,then he shall offera one yearoldfemalegoatfor a sinoffering.
"For whoeverhas,to him [more] shall be given,and he will have an abundance;but whoeverdoes not have,evenwhathe hasshall be taken awayfrom him.

Petersaid,"Lord,are You addressingthisparableto us, orto everyone[else] as well?"

then it shall be ifthe wickedmandeservesto be beaten,the judgeshall then make him liedownand be beatenin his presencewith the numberof stripes accordingto his guilt.

OTimothy,guardwhat has been entrustedto you, avoidingworldly[and] empty chatter[and] the opposing argumentsof what is falsely called"knowledge"--
but at the propertimemanifested,[even] His word,in the proclamationwith whichI was entrustedaccordingto the commandmentof Godour Savior,
Let not many[of you] becometeachers,my brethren,knowingthat as such we will incura stricterjudgment.
