"Blessedare thoseslaveswhomthe masterwill findon the alertwhen he comes;trulyI sayto you, that he will girdhimself [to serve], and have them recline[at the table], and will comeup and waiton them.
For [as] a youngmanmarriesa virgin,[So] your sonswill marryyou; And [as] the bridegroomrejoicesoverthe bride,[So] your Godwill rejoiceoveryou.
"I will rejoiceoverthem to dothem goodand will faithfullyplantthem in thislandwith allMy heartand with allMy soul.
"The LORDyour Godis in your midst,A victoriouswarrior.He will exultoveryou with joy,He will be quietin His love,He will rejoiceoveryou with shoutsof joy.
"Thereforebe on the alert,for you do not knowwhichdayyour Lordis coming.
"Be likemenwho are waitingfor their masterwhenhe returnsfrom the wedding feast,sothat they may immediatelyopen[the door] to him when he comesand knocks.
"Blessedis that slavewhomhis masterfindssodoingwhen he comes.
"But will he not sayto him, 'Preparesomethingfor me to eat,and [properly] clotheyourself and serveme whileI eatand drink;and afterwardyou may eatand drink'?
"But keep on the alertat alltimes,prayingthat you may have strengthto escapeallthese thingsthat are aboutto take place,and to standbeforethe Sonof Man."
"For whois greater,the one who reclines[at the table] orthe one who serves?Is it not the one who reclines[at the table]? But I amamongyou as the one who serves.
"IfanyoneservesMe, he must followMe; and whereI am,thereMy servantwill be also;ifanyoneservesMe, the Fatherwill honorhim.
but justas it is written,"THINGS WHICHEYEHAS NOT SEENAND EARHAS NOT HEARD,AND [which] HAVE NOT ENTEREDTHE HEARTOF MAN,ALLTHAT GODHAS PREPAREDFOR THOSEWHO LOVEHIM."
For to me, to liveis Christand to dieis gain.
But I am hard-pressedfrom both[directions], havingthe desireto departand be with Christ,for [that] is very muchbetter;
for in this waythe entranceinto the eternalkingdomof our Lordand SaviorJesusChristwill be abundantlysuppliedto you.
Therefore,beloved,since you lookfor these things,be diligentto be foundby Him in peace,spotlessand blameless,
And I hearda voicefrom heaven,saying,"Write,Blessedare the deadwho diein the Lordfrom nowon!'" "Yes,"saysthe Spirit,"sothat they may restfrom their labors,for their deedsfollowwith them."
("Behold,I am cominglikea thief.Blessedis the one who stays awakeand keepshis clothes,sothat he will not walk aboutnakedand men will not seehis shame.")
He who overcomes,I will grantto him to sitdownwith Me on My throne,as I alsoovercameand sat downwith My Fatheron His throne.
for the Lambin the centerof the thronewill be their shepherd,and will guidethem to springsof the waterof life;and Godwill wipeeverytearfrom their eyes."
