Now when Rachelsawthat she boreJacobnochildren, she becamejealousof her sister;and she saidto Jacob,"Giveme children,or elseI die."
Now KingDavidwas old,advancedin age;and they coveredhim with clothes,but he could not keepwarm.
So he said,"Whatthen is to be donefor her?" And Gehazianswered,"Trulyshe hasnosonand her husbandis old."

They were bothrighteousin the sightof God,walkingblamelesslyin allthe commandmentsand requirementsof the Lord.

Withoutbecoming weakin faithhe contemplatedhis ownbody,now as good as deadsince he was abouta hundred years old,and the deadnessof Sarah'swomb;
By faithevenSarahherselfreceivedabilityto conceive,evenbeyondthe proper timeof life,sinceshe consideredHim faithfulwho had promised.
He had twowives:the nameof onewas Hannahand the nameof the otherPeninnah;and Peninnahhadchildren,but Hannahhadnochildren.
