In proportionto the extentof the yearsyou shall increaseits price,and in proportionto the fewnessof the yearsyou shall diminishits price,for [it is] a numberof cropshe is sellingto you.
Corresponding to the numberof yearsafterthe jubilee,you shall buyfrom your friend;he is to sellto you according to the numberof yearsof crops.
then he shall calculatethe yearssince its saleand refundthe balanceto the manto whomhe soldit, and so returnto his property.
Ifthere are stillmanyyears,he shall refundpart of his purchasepricein proportionto them for his own redemption;
Ifhe consecrateshis fieldafterthe jubilee,however, then the priestshall calculatethe pricefor him proportionateto the yearsthat are leftuntilthe yearof jubilee;and it shall be deductedfrom your valuation.
