In respect to an oxor a lambwhich has an overgrownor stunted[member], you may presentit for a freewilloffering,but for a vowit will not be accepted.
The Israelites,allthe menand women,whoseheartmovedthem to bring[material] for allthe work,whichthe LORDhad commandedthroughMosesto be done,broughta freewillofferingto the LORD.
For noonewhohas a defectshall approach:a blindman,ora lameman,orhe who has a disfigured[face], orany deformed[limb],
Those [that are] blindorfracturedormaimedorhaving a runningsoreoreczemaorscabs,you shall not offerto the LORD,normakeof them an offeringby fireon the altarto the LORD.
Also anything [with its testicles] bruisedor crushedor tornor cut,you shall not offerto the LORD,or sacrificein your land,
"But whenyou presentthe blindfor sacrifice,is it not evil?And whenyou presentthe lameand sick,is it not evil?Why not offerit to your governor?Would he be pleasedwith you? Orwould he receiveyou kindly?"saysthe LORDof hosts.
"But ifit hasany defect,[such as] lamenessorblindness,[or] anyseriousdefect,you shall not sacrificeit to the LORDyour God.
"You shall not sacrificeto the LORDyour Godan oxor a sheepwhichhasa blemish[or] anydefect,for that is a detestablethingto the LORDyour God.
