Thusthe sonsof Israeldidas Joshuacommanded,and tookup twelvestonesfrom the middleof the Jordan,justas the LORDspoketo Joshua,according to the numberof the tribesof the sonsof Israel;and they carriedthem overwith them to the lodgingplaceand putthem downthere.
