Mosesalso gave[an inheritance] to the half-tribeof Manasseh;and it was for the half-tribeof the sonsof Manassehaccording to their families.
Now the sonsof the half-tribeof Manassehlivedin the land;from Bashanto Baal-hermonand Senirand MountHermonthey were numerous.
"Besidethe borderof Naphtali,from the eastsideto the westside,Manasseh,one[portion].
and the landis subduedbeforethe LORD,then afterwardyou shall returnand be freeof obligationtowardthe LORDand towardIsrael,and thislandshall be yours for a possessionbeforethe LORD.
So MosesgaveGileadto Machirthe sonof Manasseh,and he livedin it.
"The restof Gileadand allBashan,the kingdomof Og,I gaveto the half-tribeof Manasseh,allthe regionof Argob(concerning allBashan,it is calledthe landof Rephaim.
Thisis the inheritanceof the sonsof Gadaccording to their families,the citiesand their villages.
Their territorywas from Mahanaim,allBashan,allthe kingdomof Ogkingof Bashan,and allthe townsof Jair,whichare in Bashan,sixtycities;
Thus there felltenportionsto Manasseh,besidesthe landof Gileadand Bashan,whichis beyondthe Jordan,
becausethe daughtersof Manassehreceivedan inheritanceamonghis sons.And the landof Gileadbelongedto the restof the sonsof Manasseh.
Now to the one half-tribeof ManassehMoseshad given[a possession] in Bashan,but to the other halfJoshuagave[a possession] amongtheir brotherswestwardbeyondthe Jordan.So whenJoshuasentthem awayto their tents,he blessedthem,
