But manyof the crowdbelievedin Him; and they were saying,"Whenthe Christcomes,He will not performmoresignsthan those whichthis manhas, will He?"
Allthe crowdswere amazed,and were saying,"Thisman cannotbe the Sonof David,can he?"
"Those on the rocky[soil are] those who,whenthey hear,receivethe wordwith joy;and thesehaveno[firm] root;they believefor a while,and in timeof temptationfall away.
Thereforemanyof the Jewswho cameto Mary,and sawwhatHe had done,believedin Him.
becauseon accountof him manyof the Jewswere going awayand were believingin Jesus.
Neverthelessmanyevenof the rulersbelievedin Him, but becauseof the Phariseesthey were not confessing[Him], for fearthat they would be put out of the synagogue;
Thisbeginningof [His] signsJesusdidin Canaof Galilee,and manifestedHis glory,and His disciplesbelievedin Him.
this mancameto Jesus by nightand saidto Him, "Rabbi,we knowthat You have comefrom God[as] a teacher;for no onecandothesesignsthat You dounlessGodis with him."
"Come,seea manwhotoldme all the thingsthat I [have] done;thisis not the Christ,is it?"
From that citymanyof the Samaritansbelievedin Him becauseof the wordof the womanwho testified,"He toldme all the thingsthat I [have] done."
A largecrowdfollowedHim, becausethey sawthe signswhichHe was performingon thosewho were sick.
"Look,He is speakingpublicly,and they are sayingnothingto Him. The rulersdo not reallyknowthat thisis the Christ,do they?
Thereforesomeof the Phariseeswere saying,"Thismanis not from God,becauseHe does not keepthe Sabbath."But otherswere saying,"Howcana manwho is a sinnerperformsuchsigns?"And there was a divisionamongthem.
EvenSimonhimselfbelieved;and after being baptized,he continuedon with Philip,and as he observedsignsand greatmiraclestaking place,he was constantly amazed.
For justas the bodywithout[the] spiritis dead,soalsofaithwithoutworksis dead.
