Thereforethey saidto Him, "Whatshall we do,sothat we may workthe worksof God?"
For you have [only] deceivedyourselves;for it is you who sentme to the LORDyour God,saying,"Prayfor us to the LORDour God;and whateverthe LORDour Godsays,tellus so,and we will doit."
And someonecameto Him and said,"Teacher,whatgood thingshall I dothat I may obtaineternallife?"
And a lawyerstoodup and put Him to the test,saying,"Teacher,whatshall I doto inheriteternallife?"
"Do not workfor the foodwhich perishes,but for the foodwhich enduresto eternallife,whichthe Sonof Manwill giveto you, for on Him the Father,God,has set His seal."
Jesusansweredand saidto them, "Thisis the workof God,that you believein Him whomHe has sent."
and after he broughtthem out, he said,"Sirs,whatmustI doto be saved?"
Nowwhen they heard[this], they were piercedto the heart,and saidto Peterand the restof the apostles,"Brethren,whatshall we do?"
but getup and enterthe city,and it will be toldyou whatyou mustdo."
Gonearand hearallthat the LORDour Godsays;then speakto us allthat the LORDour Godspeaksto you, and we will hearand do[it].'
