Seenowthat I, I am He, And thereis nogodbesidesMe; It is I who putto deathand givelife.I have woundedand it is I who heal,And thereis noonewho can deliverfrom My hand.
Jesussaidto her, "I amthe resurrectionand the life;he who believesin Me will liveeven ifhe dies,
"Whyis it consideredincredibleamongyou [people] ifGoddoes raisethe dead?
evenas You gaveHim authorityover allflesh,that to allwhomYou have givenHim, He may giveeternallife.
When the kingof Israelreadthe letter,he torehis clothesand said,"Am I God,to killand to makealive,that thisman is sending[word] to me to curea manof his leprosy?But considernow,and seehowhe is seekinga quarrelagainst me."
Then he stretchedhimself upon the childthreetimes,and calledto the LORDand said,"O LORDmy God,I prayYou, let thischild'slifereturnto him."
"It is the Spiritwho gives life;the fleshprofitsnothing;the wordsthat I have spokento you are spiritand are life.
Soalsoit is written,"The firstMAN,Adam,BECAMEA LIVINGSOUL."The lastAdam[became] a life-givingspirit.
