AllYour garmentsare [fragrant with] myrrhand aloes[and] cassia;Out of ivorypalacesstringedinstrumentshave madeYou glad.
"I have sprinkledmy bedWith myrrh,aloesand cinnamon.
"My belovedis to me a pouchof myrrhWhich liesall nightbetweenmy breasts.
Nardand saffron,calamusand cinnamon,With allthe treesof frankincense,Myrrhand aloes,alongwith allthe finestspices.
"Untilthe coolof the dayWhen the shadowsfleeaway, I will gomy wayto the mountainof myrrhAnd to the hillof frankincense.
"A BATTEREDREEDHE WILL NOT BREAKOFF, AND A SMOLDERINGWICKHE WILL NOT PUTOUT, UNTILHE LEADSJUSTICETO VICTORY.
"But many[who are] firstwill be last;and [the] last,first.

Marythentooka poundof very costlyperfumeof purenard,and anointedthe feetof Jesusand wipedHis feetwith her hair;and the housewas filledwith the fragranceof the perfume.
ThereforeJesussaid,"Let her alone,sothat she may keepit for the dayof My burial.
