Sothey saidto one another,"Let us not tearit, but cast lotsfor it, [to decide] whoseit shall be"; [this was] to fulfillthe Scripture:"THEY DIVIDEDMY OUTER GARMENTSAMONGTHEM, AND FOR MY CLOTHINGTHEY CASTLOTS."
Thisis the wordof the LORDwhichHe spoketo Jehu,saying,"Your sonsto the fourthgeneration shall siton the throneof Israel."And soit was.
They dividemy garmentsamong them, And for my clothingthey castlots.
"There shall be an openingat its topin the middleof it; aroundits openingthere shall be a bindingof wovenwork,like the openingof a coatof mail,so that it will not be torn.
Yet it does not sointend,Nordoes it plansoin its heart,But ratherit is its purposeto destroyAnd to cutoffmanynations.
And when they had crucifiedHim, they dividedup His garmentsamongthemselves by castinglots.

But Jesuswas saying,"Father,forgivethem; for they do not knowwhatthey are doing."And they castlots,dividingup His garmentsamongthemselves.
"Ifhe calledthem gods,to whomthe wordof Godcame(and the Scripturecannotbe broken),
"I do not speakof allof you. I knowthe onesI have chosen;but [it is] that the Scripturemay be fulfilled,HE WHO EATSMY BREADHAS LIFTEDUP HIS HEELAGAINSTME.'
Afterthis,Jesus,knowingthat all thingshad alreadybeen accomplished,to fulfillthe Scripture,said,"I am thirsty."
"For thosewho livein Jerusalem,and their rulers,recognizingneither Him northe utterancesof the prophetswhich are readeverySabbath,fulfilled[these] by condemning[Him].
