Sarahdenied[it] however, saying,"I did not laugh";for she was afraid.And He said,"No,but you did laugh."
The fearof manbringsa snare,But he who trustsin the LORDwill be exalted.
NowPeterwas sittingoutsidein the courtyard,and a servant-girlcameto him and said,"You toowere with Jesusthe Galilean."
As Peterwas belowin the courtyard,oneof the servant-girlsof the high priestcame,
After they had kindleda firein the middleof the courtyardand had sat down together,Peterwas sittingamongthem.
And a servant-girl,seeinghim as he satin the firelightand looking intentlyat him, said,"This manwas with Him too."
But he denied[it], saying,"Woman,I do not knowHim."
