"In that dayyou will knowthat I am in My Father,and you in Me, and I in you.
I will tellof Your nameto my brethren;In the midstof the assemblyI will praiseYou.
"Abidein Me, and I in you. As the branchcannotbearfruitof itselfunlessit abidesin the vine,soneither[can] you unlessyou abidein Me.
Thismysteryis great;but I am speakingwith referenceto Christand the church.
becausewe are membersof His body.
Jesusansweredand saidto him, "IfanyonelovesMe, he will keepMy word;and My Fatherwill lovehim, and We will cometo him and makeOur abodewith him.
"But I do not seekMy glory;there is One who seeksand judges.
The one who keepsHis commandmentsabidesin Him, and He in him. We knowby thisthat He abidesin us, by the SpiritwhomHe has givenus.
Nowmay our LordJesusChristHimselfand Godour Father,who has lovedus and givenus eternalcomfortand goodhopeby grace,
[a renewal] in whichthereis no[distinction between] Greekand Jew,circumcisedand uncircumcised,barbarian,Scythian,slaveand freeman,but Christis all,and in all.
and in Him you have beenmade complete,and He is the headover allruleand authority;
to whomGodwilledto make knownwhatis the richesof the gloryof thismysteryamongthe Gentiles,whichis Christin you, the hopeof glory.
so that Christmay dwellin your heartsthroughfaith;[and] that you, being rootedand groundedin love,
to the praiseof the gloryof His grace,whichHe freely bestowedon us in the Beloved.
"I have been crucifiedwith Christ;and it is no longerI who live,but Christlivesin me; and the [life] whichI nowlivein the fleshI liveby faithin the Sonof God,who lovedme and gaveHimselfup for me.
For evenas the bodyis oneand [yet] hasmanymembers,and allthe membersof the body,though they are many,are onebody,soalsois Christ.
But by His doing you are in ChristJesus,whobecameto us wisdomfrom God,and righteousnessand sanctification,and redemption,
IfChristis in you, thoughthe bodyis deadbecauseof sin,yetthe spiritis alivebecauseof righteousness.
"He who eatsMy fleshand drinksMy bloodabidesin Me, and I in him.
for the wordswhichYou gaveMe I have givento them; and they received[them] and trulyunderstoodthat I came forthfrom You, and they believedthat You sentMe.
