"Declareand setforth[your case]; Indeed,let them consulttogether.Whohas announcedthisfrom of old?Who has longsincedeclaredit? Is it not I, the LORD?And thereis nootherGodbesidesMe, A righteousGodand a Savior;Thereis noneexceptMe.
"All thingshave been handed overto Me by My Father;and no oneknowsthe Sonexceptthe Father;nordoes anyoneknowthe Fatherexceptthe Son,and anyone to whomthe Sonwillsto reveal[Him].
SimonPeteranswered,"You are the Christ,the Sonof the livingGod."

No onehas seenGodat any time;the only begottenGodwho is in the bosomof the Father,He has explained[Him].
evenas the FatherknowsMe and I knowthe Father;and I lay downMy lifefor the sheep.
"But allthese thingsthey will doto you for My name'ssake,becausethey do not knowthe One who sentMe.
for the FatherHimselflovesyou, becauseyou have lovedMe and have believedthat I came forthfrom the Father.
"These thingsthey will dobecausethey have not knownthe FatherorMe.
"Nowwe know that You knowall things,and havenoneedfor anyoneto questionYou; by thiswe believethat You camefrom God."
"I amno longerin the world;and [yet] they themselvesare in the world,and I cometo You. HolyFather,keepthem in Your name,[the name] whichYou have givenMe, that they may be oneevenas We [are].
"As You sentMe into the world,I alsohave sentthem into the world.
that they may allbe one;evenas You, Father,[are] in Me and I in You, that they alsomay be in Us, sothat the worldmay believethat You sentMe.
I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfectedin unity,sothat the worldmay knowthat You sentMe, and lovedthem, evenas You have lovedMe.
"Thisis eternallife,that they may knowYou, the onlytrue God,and JesusChristwhomYou have sent.
for the wordswhichYou gaveMe I have givento them; and they received[them] and trulyunderstoodthat I came forthfrom You, and they believedthat You sentMe.
"For Goddid not sendthe Soninto the worldto judgethe world,but that the worldmight be savedthroughHim.
Then,when they had rowedaboutthreeorfour miles,they sawJesuswalkingon the seaand drawingnearto the boat;and they were frightened.
"I knowHim, becauseI amfrom Him, and He sentMe."
Sothey were sayingto Him, "Whereis Your Father?"Jesusanswered,"You knowneitherMe norMy Father;ifyou knew Me, you would knowMy Fatheralso."
and you have not come to knowHim, but I knowHim; and ifI saythat I do not knowHim, I will be a liarlikeyou, but I do knowHim and keepHis word.
"For while I was passing throughand examiningthe objects of your worship,I alsofoundan altarwith thisinscription,'TO AN UNKNOWNGOD.'Thereforewhatyou worshipin ignorance,thisI proclaimto you.
to opentheir eyesso that they may turnfrom darknessto lightand from the dominionof Satanto God,that they may receiveforgivenessof sinsand an inheritanceamongthosewho have been sanctifiedby faithin Me.'
And justas they did not see fitto acknowledgeGodany longer, Godgave them overto a depravedmind,to dothosethings which are not proper,
THERE IS NONEWHO UNDERSTANDS,THERE IS NONEWHO SEEKSFOR GOD;
for the demonstration,[I say], of His righteousnessat the presenttime,sothat He would be justand the justifierof the one who has faithin Jesus.
For sincein the wisdomof Godthe worldthroughits wisdomdid not [come to] knowGod,Godwas well-pleasedthroughthe foolishnessof the message preachedto savethosewho believe.
Become sober-mindedas you ought,and stopsinning;for somehaveno knowledgeof God.I speak[this] to your shame.
in whosecasethe godof thisworldhas blindedthe mindsof the unbelievingsothat they might not seethe lightof the gospelof the gloryof Christ,whois the imageof God.
dealingout retributionto thosewho do not knowGodand to thosewho do not obeythe gospelof our LordJesus.
"AND THEY SHALL NOT TEACHEVERYONEHIS FELLOW CITIZEN,AND EVERYONEHIS BROTHER,SAYING,'KNOWTHE LORD,'FOR ALLWILL KNOWME, FROM THE LEASTTO THE GREATESTOF THEM.
Ifwe confessour sins,He is faithfuland righteousto forgiveus our sinsand to cleanseus from allunrighteousness.
Allwho dwellon the earthwill worshiphim, [everyone] whosenamehas not been writtenfrom the foundationof the worldin the bookof lifeof the Lambwho has been slain.
And I heardthe angelof the waterssaying,"Righteousare You, who are and whowere, O Holy One,becauseYou judgedthese things;
