SoJesuswas sayingto thoseJewswho had believedHim, "Ifyou continuein My word,[then] you are trulydisciplesof Mine;
Anyonewho goes too farand does not abidein the teachingof Christ,does not haveGod;the one who abidesin the teaching,he hasboththe Fatherand the Son.
"He who eatsMy fleshand drinksMy bloodabidesin Me, and I in him.
having been filledwith the fruitof righteousnesswhich [comes] throughJesusChrist,to the gloryand praiseof God.
"In that dayyou will knowthat I am in My Father,and you in Me, and I in you.
"But the [seed] in the goodsoil,theseare the ones whohave heardthe wordin an honestand goodheart,and hold it fast,and bear fruitwith perseverance.
Testyourselves[to see] ifyou are in the faith;examineyourselves!Ordo you not recognizethis about yourselves,that JesusChristis in you-- unlessindeed you fail the test?
Thereforeas you have receivedChristJesusthe Lord,[so] walkin Him,
to whomGodwilledto make knownwhatis the richesof the gloryof thismysteryamongthe Gentiles,whichis Christin you, the hopeof glory.
strengtheningthe soulsof the disciples,encouragingthem to continuein the faith,and [saying], "Throughmanytribulationswe mustenterthe kingdomof God."
I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfectedin unity,sothat the worldmay knowthat You sentMe, and lovedthem, evenas You have lovedMe.
O Ephraim,whatmorehave I to do with idols?It is I who answerand lookafter you. I am like a luxuriantcypress;From Me comesyour fruit.
so that Christmay dwellin your heartsthroughfaith;[and] that you, being rootedand groundedin love,
Then when he arrivedand witnessedthe graceof God,he rejoicedand [began] to encouragethem allwith resoluteheartto remain[true] to the Lord;
ifindeedyou continuein the faithfirmly establishedand steadfast,and not moved awayfrom the hopeof the gospelthat you have heard,which was proclaimedin allcreationunderheaven,and of whichI, Paul,was madea minister.
For thisreason,when I could endure[it] no longer,I alsosentto findout about your faith,for fearthat the temptermight have temptedyou, and our laborwould be in vain.

But we are not of those who shrink backto destruction,but of those who have faithto the preservingof the soul.
"Eithermakethe treegoodand its fruitgood,ormakethe treebadand its fruitbad;for the treeis knownby its fruit.
