Jesussaidto him, "Have I beenso longwith you, and [yet] you have not come to knowMe, Philip?He who has seenMe has seenthe Father;how[can] you say,'Showus the Father'?
Then AbimelechcalledIsaacand said,"Behold,certainlyshe is your wife!Howthen did you say,'She is my sister?"And Isaacsaidto him, "BecauseI said,'I mightdieon accountof her.'"
In the LORDI takerefuge;Howcan you sayto my soul,"Flee[as] a birdto your mountain;
"Howcan you say,'I am not defiled,I have not goneafterthe Baals?Lookat your wayin the valley!Knowwhatyou have done!You are a swiftyoungcamelentanglingher ways,
And He answeredthem and said,"Ounbelievinggeneration,howlongshall I be with you? How longshall I putup with you? Bringhim to Me!"
"You hypocrites!You know howto analyzethe appearanceof the earthand the sky,but whydo you not analyzethispresent time?
And the Wordbecameflesh,and dweltamongus, and we sawHis glory,gloryas of the only begottenfrom the Father,fullof graceand truth.
"I and the Fatherare one."
"He who seesMe seesthe One who sentMe.
"In that dayyou will knowthat I am in My Father,and you in Me, and I in you.
"Ifyou had knownMe, you would have knownMy Fatheralso;from nowon you knowHim, and have seenHim."
Sothey were sayingto Him, "Whereis Your Father?"Jesusanswered,"You knowneitherMe norMy Father;ifyou knew Me, you would knowMy Fatheralso."
NowifChristis preached,that He has been raisedfrom the dead,howdo someamongyou saythat there is noresurrectionof the dead?
who,although He existedin the formof God,did not regardequalitywith Goda thing to be grasped,
He is the imageof the invisibleGod,the firstbornof allcreation.
And He is the radianceof His gloryand the exact representationof His nature,and upholdsall thingsby the wordof His power.When He had madepurificationof sins,He sat downat the right handof the Majestyon high,
And we knowthat the Sonof Godhas come,and has givenus understandingsothat we may knowHim whois true;and we are in Him who is true,in His SonJesusChrist.Thisis the true Godand eternallife.
