Petersaidto Him, "Lord,whycanI not followYou right now?I will lay downmy lifefor You."
Philipand Bartholomew;Thomasand Matthewthe tax collector;Jamesthe son of Alphaeus,and Thaddaeus;
and Matthewand Thomas;James[the son] of Alphaeus,and Simonwho was calledthe Zealot;
and Andrew,and Philip,and Bartholomew,and Matthew,and Thomas,and Jamesthe son of Alphaeus,and Thaddaeus,and Simonthe Zealot;
Petersaidto Him, "Even ifI haveto diewith You, I will not denyYou." Allthe disciplessaidthe same thingtoo.
Whenthey had entered[the city], they wentup to the upper roomwherethey were staying;that is, Peterand Johnand Jamesand Andrew,Philipand Thomas,Bartholomewand Matthew,James[the son] of Alphaeus,and Simonthe Zealot,and Judas[the] [son] of James.
Thomassaidto Him, "Lord,we do not knowwhereYou are going,howdo we knowthe way?"
The disciplessaidto Him, "Rabbi,the Jewswere just nowseekingto stoneYou, and are You goingthereagain?"
But he saidto Him, "Lord,with You I amreadyto gobothto prisonand to death!"
and I am gladfor your sakesthat I was not there,sothat you may believe;but let us goto him."
