The kingsof the earthtaketheir standAnd the rulerstakecounseltogetherAgainstthe LORDand againstHis Anointed,saying,
"Behold,My Servant,whom I uphold;My chosenone [in whom] My souldelights.I have putMy Spiritupon Him; He will bringforthjusticeto the nations.
"A bruisedreedHe will not breakAnd a dimlyburning wickHe will not extinguish;He will faithfullybringforthjustice.
"Behold,I have madehim a witnessto the peoples,A leaderand commanderfor the peoples.
"BeforeI formedyou in the wombI knewyou, And beforeyou were bornI consecratedyou; I have appointedyou a prophetto the nations."
"HE TRUSTSIN GOD;LET GODRESCUE[Him] now,IFHE DELIGHTSIN HIM; for He said,'I amthe Sonof God.'"
Nowthe centurion,and thosewho were with him keeping guard overJesus,when they sawthe earthquakeand the things that were happening,became veryfrightenedand said,"Trulythiswas the Sonof God!"
The angelansweredand saidto her, "The HolySpiritwill comeupon you, and the powerof the Most Highwill overshadowyou; and for that reasonthe holyChildshall be calledthe Sonof God.
"Ifhe calledthem gods,to whomthe wordof Godcame(and the Scripturecannotbe broken),
"As You sentMe into the world,I alsohave sentthem into the world.
that they may allbe one;evenas You, Father,[are] in Me and I in You, that they alsomay be in Us, sothat the worldmay believethat You sentMe.
for the wordswhichYou gaveMe I have givento them; and they received[them] and trulyunderstoodthat I came forthfrom You, and they believedthat You sentMe.
The Jewsansweredhim, "We havea law,and by that lawHe oughtto diebecauseHe madeHimselfout [to] [be] the Sonof God."
Thomasansweredand saidto Him, "My Lordand my God!"
but thesehave been writtensothat you may believethat Jesusis the Christ,the Sonof God;and that believingyou may havelifein His name.
"For Goddid not sendthe Soninto the worldto judgethe world,but that the worldmight be savedthroughHim.
"For He whomGodhas sentspeaksthe wordsof God;for He givesthe Spiritwithoutmeasure.
"I candonothingon My own initiative.As I hear,I judge;and My judgmentis just,becauseI do not seekMy ownwill,but the willof Him who sentMe.
"Do not workfor the foodwhich perishes,but for the foodwhich enduresto eternallife,whichthe Sonof Manwill giveto you, for on Him the Father,God,has set His seal."
"For I have come downfrom heaven,not to doMy ownwill,but the willof Him who sentMe.
"As the livingFathersentMe, and I livebecauseof the Father,sohe who eatsMe, he alsowill livebecauseof Me.
"We have believedand have come to knowthat You are the Holy Oneof God."
Jesussaidto them, "IfGodwere your Father,you would loveMe, for I proceeded forthand have comefrom God,for I have not evencomeon My own initiative,but He sentMe.

For whatthe Lawcouldnot do, weakas it was throughthe flesh,God[did]: sendingHis ownSonin the likenessof sinfulfleshand [as an offering] for sin,He condemnedsinin the flesh,
whoseare the fathers,and from whomis the Christaccordingto the flesh,who is overall,Godblessedforever.Amen.
