Its foliage[was] beautifuland its fruitabundant,And in it [was] foodfor all.The beastsof the fieldfoundshadeunderit, And the birdsof the skydweltin its branches,And alllivingcreaturesfedthemselves from it.
"Yetleavethe stumpwith its rootsin the ground,But with a bandof ironand bronze[around it] In the newgrassof the field;And let him be drenchedwith the dewof heaven,And let him sharewith the beastsin the grassof the earth.
