O my threshed[people], and my afflictedof the threshingfloor!WhatI have heardfrom the LORDof hosts,The Godof Israel,I makeknownto you.
For dillis not threshedwith a threshingsledge,Noris the cartwheeldrivenovercummin;But dillis beatenout with a rod,and cumminwith a club.
Thisalsocomesfrom the LORDof hosts,[Who] has made[His] counselwonderfuland [His] wisdomgreat.
Correctme, O LORD,but with justice;Not with Your anger,orYou will bringme to nothing.
"For behold,I am commanding,And I will shakethe houseof Israelamong allnationsAs [grain] is shakenin a sieve,But not a kernelwill fallto the ground.
When they broughttheir offeringbeforethe LORD,sixcoveredcartsand twelveoxen,a cartfor [every] twoof the leadersand an oxfor each one,then they presentedthem beforethe tabernacle.
"His winnowing forkis in His hand,and He will thoroughly clearHis threshing floor;and He will gatherHis wheatinto the barn,but He will burnup the chaffwith unquenchablefire."
"Truly,truly,I sayto you, unlessa grainof wheatfallsinto the earthand dies,it remainsalone;but ifit dies,it bearsmuchfruit.
