For considerHim who has enduredsuchhostilityby sinnersagainstHimself,sothat you will not grow wearyand loseheart.
Let us not lose heartin doinggood,for in duetimewe will reapif we do not grow weary.
Thereforewe do not lose heart,but thoughour outermanis decaying,yetour inner manis being reneweddayby day.
and you haveperseveranceand have enduredfor My name'ssake,and have not grown weary.
Therefore,my belovedbrethren,be steadfast,immovable,alwaysaboundingin the workof the Lord,knowingthat your toilis not [in] vainin the Lord.
fixing our eyeson Jesus,the authorand perfecterof faith,whofor the joyset beforeHim enduredthe cross,despisingthe shame,and has sat downat the right handof the throneof God.
Therefore,holybrethren,partakersof a heavenlycalling,considerJesus,the Apostleand High Priestof our confession;
Therefore,since we havethisministry,as we received mercy,we do not lose heart,
For thisreasonthe Jewswere persecutingJesus,becauseHe was doingthese thingson the Sabbath.
"Onlyfearthe LORDand serveHim in truthwith allyour heart;for considerwhatgreatthingsHe has donefor you.
and you have forgottenthe exhortationwhichis addressedto you as sons,"MY SON,DO NOT REGARD LIGHTLYTHE DISCIPLINEOF THE LORD,NORFAINTWHEN YOU ARE REPROVEDBY HIM;
It happenedthat whenHe wentinto the houseof oneof the leadersof the Phariseeson [the] Sabbathto eatbread,they were watching Him closely.
"He shall sayto them, 'Hear,O Israel,you are approachingthe battleagainstyour enemiestoday.Do not be fainthearted.Do not be afraid,or panic,or tremblebeforethem,
But as for you, brethren,do not grow wearyof doing good.
When He had saidthis,oneof the officersstanding nearbystruckJesus,saying,"Is that the wayYou answerthe high priest?"
The Jewssaidto Him, "Nowwe knowthat You havea demon.Abrahamdied,and the prophets[also]; and You say,'IfanyonekeepsMy word,he will nevertasteof death.'
The LordGODhas givenMe the tongueof disciples,That I may knowhow to sustainthe wearyonewith a word.He awakens[Me] morningby morning,He awakensMy earto listenas a disciple.
If you are slackin the dayof distress,Your strengthis limited.
Thereforethey pickedup stonesto throwat Him, but JesushidHimself and wentout of the temple.
Sothe Phariseessaidto Him, "You are testifyingaboutYourself;Your testimonyis not true."
There was muchgrumblingamongthe crowdsconcerningHim; somewere saying,"He is a good man";otherswere saying,"No,on the contrary,He leadsthe peopleastray."
Nowthe Pharisees,who were lovers of money,were listeningto allthese thingsand were scoffingat Him.
Boththe Phariseesand the scribes[began] to grumble,saying,"This manreceivessinnersand eatswith them."
The scribesand the Phariseesbeganto reason,saying,"Whois this[man] whospeaksblasphemies?Whocanforgivesins,but Godalone?"
And Simeonblessedthem and saidto MaryHis mother,"Behold,this[Child] is appointedfor the falland riseof manyin Israel,and for a signto be opposed--
Thenthe Phariseeswentand plotted togetherhowthey might trapHim in what He said.
When they soughtto seizeHim, they fearedthe people,becausethey consideredHim to be a prophet.
When He enteredthe temple,the chief priestsand the eldersof the peoplecameto Him while He was teaching,and said,"By whatauthorityare You doingthese things,and whogaveYou thisauthority?"
"Whydo Your disciplesbreak the traditionof the elders?For they do not washtheir handswhenthey eatbread."
But when the Phariseesheard[this], they said,"This mancastsout demonsonlyby Beelzebulthe rulerof the demons."
"The Sonof Mancameeatingand drinking,and they say,'Behold,a gluttonousmanand a drunkard,a friendof tax collectorsand sinners!'Yetwisdomis vindicatedby her deeds."
Thoseof the Phariseeswho were with Him heardthese thingsand saidto Him, "We are not blindtoo,are we?"
Manyof them were saying,"He hasa demonand is insane.Whydo you listento Him?"
and while being reviled,He did not revile in return;while suffering,He utterednothreats,but kept entrusting[Himself] to Him who judgesrighteously;
