To his fatherhe sentas follows:tendonkeysloadedwith the bestthingsof Egypt,and tenfemaledonkeysloadedwith grainand breadand sustenancefor his fatheron the journey.
Then the servanttooktencamelsfrom the camelsof his master,and setout with a varietyof goodthingsof his master'sin his hand;and he aroseand wentto Mesopotamia,to the cityof Nahor.
Then their fatherIsraelsaidto them, "If[it must be] so,thendothis:takesomeof the bestproductsof the landin your bags,and carrydownto the manas a present,a littlebalmand a littlehoney,aromaticgumand myrrh,pistachionutsand almonds.
To eachof them he gavechangesof garments,but to Benjaminhe gavethreehundred[pieces of] silverand fivechangesof garments.
So he senthis brothersaway,and as they departed,he saidto them, "Do not quarrelon the journey."
The sonsof Israelsaidto them, "Wouldthat we had diedby the LORD'Shandin the landof Egypt,when we satby the potsof meat,when we atebreadto the full;for you have broughtus out into thiswildernessto killthiswholeassemblywith hunger."
