Then it cameabout afterthesethings,the cupbearerand the bakerfor the kingof Egyptoffendedtheir lord,the kingof Egypt.
within threemoredaysPharaohwill liftup your headfrom you and will hangyou on a tree,and the birdswill eatyour fleshoffyou."
Then they saidto him, "We have hada dreamand thereis nooneto interpretit." Then Josephsaidto them, "Do not interpretationsbelong to God?Tell[it] to me, please."
Josephthen answeredPharaoh,saying,"It is not in me; Godwill givePharaoha favorableanswer."
So they hangedHamanon the gallowswhichhe had preparedfor Mordecai,and the king'sangersubsided.
"The prophetwhohasa dreammay relate[his] dream,but let him whohasMy wordspeakMy wordin truth.Whatdoes strawhave [in common] with grain?"declaresthe LORD.
"But as for me, thismysteryhasnot been revealedto me for any wisdomresidingin me morethan[in] any[other] livingman,but for the purposeof makingthe interpretationknownto the king,and that you may understandthe thoughtsof your mind.
"[This was] becausean extraordinaryspirit,knowledgeand insight,interpretationof dreams,explanationof enigmasand solvingof difficultproblemswere foundin this Daniel,whomthe kingnamedBelteshazzar.Let Danielnowbe summonedand he will declarethe interpretation."
