then we will giveour daughtersto you, and we will takeyour daughtersfor ourselves, and we will livewith you and becomeonepeople.
So IsaaccalledJacoband blessedhim and chargedhim, and saidto him, "You shall not takea wifefrom the daughtersof Canaan.
"Onlyon this[condition] will we consentto you: ifyou will becomelikeus, in that everymaleof you be circumcised,
"But ifyou will not listento us to be circumcised,then we will takeour daughterand go."
