Abramsettledin the landof Canaan,while Lotsettledin the citiesof the valley,and movedhis tentsas faras Sodom.
So Lotchosefor himself allthe valleyof the Jordan,and Lotjourneyedeastward.Thus they separatedfrom eachother.
They also tookLot,Abram'snephew,and his possessionsand departed,for he was livingin Sodom.
[that] they madewarwith Berakingof Sodom,and with Birshakingof Gomorrah,Shinabkingof Admah,and Shemeberkingof Zeboiim,and the kingof Bela(that is, Zoar).
Now the twoangelscameto Sodomin the eveningas Lotwas sittingin the gateof Sodom.When Lotsaw[them], he roseto meetthem and boweddown[with his] faceto the ground.
Then the LORDrainedon Sodomand Gomorrahbrimstoneand firefrom the LORDout of heaven,
and He overthrewthosecities,and allthe valley,and allthe inhabitantsof the cities,and whatgrewon the ground.
Thus it cameabout, when Goddestroyedthe citiesof the valley,that GodrememberedAbraham,and sentLotout of the midstof the overthrow,when He overthrewthe citiesin whichLotlived.
I hatethe assemblyof evildoers,And I will not sitwith the wicked.
