As for the likenessof their faces,they were the samefaceswhoseappearanceI had seenby the riverChebar.Eachonewentstraightahead.
Now it cameabout in the thirtiethyear,on the fifth[day] of the fourthmonth,while I was by the riverChebaramongthe exiles,the heavenswere openedand I sawvisionsof God.
As for the formof their faces,[each] had the faceof a man;all fourhad the faceof a lionon the rightand the faceof a bullon the left,and all fourhad the faceof an eagle.
And eachwentstraightforward;whereverthe spiritwas about to go,they would go,withoutturningas they went.
their wingstouchedoneanother;[their faces] did not turnwhen they moved,eachwentstraightforward.
When they moved,they wentin [any of] their fourdirectionswithoutturningas they went;but they followedin the directionwhichthey faced,withoutturningas they went.
Eachonehad fourfacesand eachonefourwings,and beneaththeir wings[was] the formof humanhands.
Moreover, the Spiritliftedme up and broughtme to the eastgateof the LORD'Shousewhich facedeastward.And behold,[there were] twenty-fivemenat the entranceof the gate,and amongthem I sawJaazaniahsonof Azzurand Pelatiahsonof Benaiah,leadersof the people.
And [it was] like the appearanceof the visionwhichI saw,like the visionwhichI sawwhen He cameto destroythe city.And the visions[were] like the visionwhichI sawby the riverChebar;and I fellon my face.
Whoeveris wise,let him understandthesethings;[Whoever] is discerning,let him knowthem. For the waysof the LORDare right,And the righteouswill walkin them, But transgressorswill stumblein them.
