The LORDdidas Mosesasked,and removedthe swarmsof insects from Pharaoh,from his servantsand from his people;not oneremained.
They have allturnedaside,togetherthey have becomecorrupt;Thereis noonewho doesgood,not evenone.
"For ifyou do not letMy peoplego,behold,I will sendswarmsof insects on you and on your servantsand on your peopleand into your houses;and the housesof the Egyptianswill be fullof swarmsof insects, and alsothe groundon whichthey [dwell].
So Moseswentout from Pharaohand madesupplicationto the LORD.
But Pharaohhardenedhis heartthistimealso,and he did not letthe peoplego.
[Though] the wickedis shownfavor,He does not learnrighteousness;He dealsunjustlyin the landof uprightness,And does not perceivethe majestyof the LORD.
