The fishthat [were] in the Niledied,and the Nilebecamefoul,so that the Egyptianscouldnot drinkwaterfrom the Nile.And the bloodwas through allthe landof Egypt.
He turnedtheir watersinto bloodAnd caused their fishto die.
"The fishthat are in the Nilewill die,and the Nilewill becomefoul,and the Egyptianswill finddifficultyin drinkingwaterfrom the Nile."'"
So Mosesand Aarondidevenas the LORDhad commanded.And he liftedup the staffand struckthe waterthat [was] in the Nile,in the sightof Pharaohand in the sightof his servants,and allthe waterthat [was] in the Nilewas turnedto blood.
But the magiciansof Egyptdidthe samewith their secretarts;and Pharaoh'sheartwas hardened,and he did not listento them, as the LORDhad said.
So they piledthem in heaps,and the landbecamefoul.
And the fishermenwill lament,And allthose who casta lineinto the Nilewill mourn,And those who spreadnetson the waterswill pineaway.
and a thirdof the creatureswhichwere in the seaand hadlife,died;and a thirdof the shipswere destroyed.
