Allthe skillfulmenamong those who were performingthe workmadethe tabernaclewith tencurtains;of finetwistedlinenand blueand purpleand scarlet[material], with cherubim,the workof a skillfulworkman,Bezalel madethem.
Also in the innersanctuaryhe madetwocherubimof olivewood,each tencubitshigh.
Now [David] builthousesfor himself in the cityof David;and he prepareda placefor the arkof Godand pitcheda tentfor it.
Then Solomonand allthe assemblywith him wentto the highplacewhichwas at Gibeon,for God'stentof meetingwas there,whichMosesthe servantof the LORDhad madein the wilderness.
Then he madetwosculpturedcherubimin the roomof the holyof holiesand overlaidthem with gold.
"You shall maketwocherubimof gold,makethem of hammeredworkat the twoendsof the mercyseat.
"ThereI will meetwith you; and from abovethe mercyseat,from betweenthe twocherubimwhichare upon the arkof the testimony,I will speakto you about allthat I will giveyou in commandmentfor the sonsof Israel.
"And behold,I Myselfhave appointedwith him Oholiab,the sonof Ahisamach,of the tribeof Dan;and in the heartsof allwhoare skillfulI have putskill,that they may makeallthat I have commandedyou:
the tentof meeting,and the arkof testimony,and the mercyseatupon it, and allthe furnitureof the tent,
Let everyskillfulmanamong you come,and makeallthat the LORDhas commanded:
The lengthof eachcurtainwas twenty-eightcubitsand the widthof eachcurtainfourcubits;allthe curtainshad the samemeasurements.
Then they hammeredout goldsheetsand cut[them] into threadsto be wovenin [with] the blueand the purpleand the scarlet[material], and the finelinen,the workof a skillfulworkman.
