Now Mosesused to takethe tentand pitchit outsidethe camp,a gooddistancefrom the camp,and he calledit the tentof meeting.And everyonewho soughtthe LORDwould goout to the tentof meetingwhichwas outsidethe camp.
Now there was a faminein the daysof Davidfor threeyears,yearafteryear;and Davidsoughtthe presenceof the LORD.And the LORDsaid,"It is for Sauland his bloodyhouse,becausehe putthe Gibeonitesto death."
Why do You standafaroff, O LORD?Why do You hide[Yourself] in timesof trouble?
[When You said], "SeekMy face,"my heartsaidto You, "Your face,O LORD,I shall seek."
You have seenit, O LORD,do not keepsilent;O Lord,do not be farfrom me.
Then Jethro,Moses'father-in-law,tooka burntofferingand sacrificesfor God,and Aaroncamewith allthe eldersof Israelto eata mealwith Moses'father-in-lawbeforeGod.
Then Moseswentout to meethis father-in-law,and he boweddownand kissedhim; and they askedeachotherof their welfareand wentinto the tent.
So the sonsof Israelstrippedthemselves of their ornaments,from MountHoreb[onward].
And it cameabout, whenever Moseswentout to the tent,that allthe peoplewould ariseand stand,eachat the entranceof his tent,and gazeafterMosesuntilhe enteredthe tent.
The LORDis farfrom the wicked,But He hearsthe prayerof the righteous.
But your iniquitieshave madea separationbetweenyou and your God,And your sinshave hidden[His] facefrom you sothat He does not hear.
Thoughthey bringup their children,Yet I will bereavethem until not a manis left. Yes,woeto them indeedwhen I departfrom them!
"But from thereyou will seekthe LORDyour God,and you will find[Him] ifyou searchfor Him with allyour heartand allyour soul.
a ministerin the sanctuaryand in the true tabernacle,whichthe Lordpitched,not man.
