The LORDsaidto Moses,"I will alsodothisthingof whichyou have spoken;for you have foundfavorin My sightand I have knownyou by name."
Then he said,"Ohmaythe Lordnot be angry,and I shall speakonlythisonce;supposetenare foundthere?"And He said,"I will not destroy[it] on accountof the ten."
"Nowbehold,your servanthas foundfavorin your sight,and you have magnifiedyour lovingkindness,whichyou have shownme by savingmy life;but I cannotescapeto the mountains,for the disasterwill overtakeme and I will die;
He saidto him, "Behold,I grantyou thisrequestalso,not to overthrowthe townof whichyou have spoken.
But Noahfoundfavorin the eyesof the LORD.
Then Mosessaidto the LORD,"See,You sayto me, 'Bringup thispeople!'But You Yourselfhave not let me knowwhomYou will sendwith me. Moreover, You have said,'I have knownyou by name,and you have alsofoundfavorin My sight.'
"I will giveyou the treasuresof darknessAnd hiddenwealthof secretplaces,So that you may knowthat it is I, The LORD,the Godof Israel,who callsyou by your name.
"It will also cometo passthat beforethey call,I will answer;and while they are stillspeaking,I will hear.
"In that dayyou will not questionMe about anything.Truly,truly,I sayto you, ifyou askthe Fatherfor anythingin My name,He will giveit to you.
"For I was afraidof the angerand hotdispleasurewith whichthe LORDwas wrathfulagainstyou in order to destroyyou, but the LORDlistenedto me that timealso.
Therefore,confessyour sinsto oneanother,and prayfor one anothersothat you may be healed.The effectiveprayerof a righteous mancanaccomplishmuch.
