"You shall makethe robeof the ephodallof blue.
"They shall bindthe breastpieceby its ringsto the ringsof the ephodwith a bluecord,so that it will be on the skillfullywovenbandof the ephod,and that the breastpiecewill not comeloosefrom the ephod.
"There shall be an openingat its topin the middleof it; aroundits openingthere shall be a bindingof wovenwork,like the openingof a coatof mail,so that it will not be torn.
"Theseare the garmentswhichthey shall make:a breastpieceand an ephodand a robeand a tunicof checkeredwork,a turbanand a sash,and they shall makeholygarmentsfor Aaronyour brotherand his sons,that he may ministeras priestto Me.
"You shall takethe garments,and puton Aaronthe tunicand the robeof the ephodand the ephodand the breastpiece,and girdhim with the skillfullywovenbandof the ephod;
He putthe tunicon him and girdedhim with the sash,and clothedhim with the robeand putthe ephodon him; and he girdedhim with the artisticbandof the ephod,with which he tied[it] to him.
And his motherwould makehim a littlerobeand bringit to him from yearto yearwhen she would comeup with her husbandto offerthe yearlysacrifice.
