Now on the sixthdaythey gatheredtwiceas muchbread,twoomersfor eachone.When allthe leadersof the congregationcameand toldMoses,
"Thisis whatthe LORDhas commanded,'Gatherof it everymanas muchas he should eat;you shall takean omerapieceaccording to the numberof personseachof you hasin his tent.'"
They gatheredit morningby morning,everymanas muchas he should eat;but when the sungrewhot,it would melt.
"On the sixthday,when they preparewhatthey bringin, it will be twiceas muchas they gatherdaily."
Then Mosescalledto them, and Aaronand allthe rulersin the congregationreturnedto him; and Mosesspoketo them.
For it is a jubilee;it shall be holyto you. You shall eatits cropsout of the field.
When you are sowingthe eighthyear,you can still eatoldthingsfrom the crop,eating[the old] untilthe ninthyearwhenits cropcomesin.
